I had this same problem (i think). I had speakers plugged into my computer and checked every volume application but nothing worked. Not even the sound on power up and shut down. I had to call Dell and have them help me. It took about 20 minutes because my computer is so slow, but it still worked. The tech has to stay on the phone with you, and you have to allow him to take control of your computer from where ever is his and fix it. He has to go through certain settings and download something off the net.How can i handle the windows XP when it says Uhave no sound device in ur computer.?
You have to install the driver first, try searching for it on google, you'll certainly find it. Type ';[name of sound card/brand name]driver download';
Reinstalling ur sound drivers will sort out ur problem...
